The 3D TV boom is just beginning. Toshiba is rolling out three new Cell Regza LCD TVs, and one of them is the 46XE2. The other two models have a 55 inch screen. They are “CELL REGZA SLIM” LCD TVs and all of them are 3D enabled and have full HD capabilities.
The 46XE2 series combines the REGZA Engine, PixelPure 5G & Resolution+™ with ClearFrame™ 120Hz for superior picture quality, and adds the bottom Deep Lagoon™ design for an appearance that gives you flawless picture quality all the way to the edge of the screen. 46XE2 Storage Specifications
All three new Toshiba Cell Regza TVs give you 3 terabytes of storage space for your movies. All you need now is a Blu-ray player and you’re linked in to those high quality movies. The 46XE2 has a 2TB hard disk drive dedicated to the Cell Regzas’ “time shift machine 2.” What I’m saying here is that you can simultaneously record up to 8 channels of digital earthly broadcasts all at the same time. Isn’t technology wonderful, now how do we find time to view all this recorded content? Lastly you are no longer limited to 26 hours of recording time locked in to each channel. The new Cell Regza TVs recording time will change depending on the channels that are set up for simultaneously recording. Also, fluid operation of playback of recorded movies and programs includes “Jump to the start” function. This beams you the beginning of the program that you’re in the process of recording using the time-shift function.One more cool thing here about the Toshiba 46XE2 is if your connected to a Regza Blu-ray Disc recorder, you have the ability to record programs directly to a Blu-ray disc at the same time they are being recorded to the hard disc drive using standard recording, not the time-shift function.
