Toshiba 46XE2 Cell Regza LCD HDTV
New from Toshiba in October, 2010 the 46XE2 46 inch Cell Regza Slim HD LCD TV. This Regza LCD Gynormous TV gives you a 240Hz refresh rate with 1,000 nits of brightness and 4,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios on the beefy X2 that’s boosted with local backlight dimming, plus a 2D-to-3D conversion technology that’ll metamorphose your antiquated 2D images into bold 3D dimensionality.
The 46XE2 adopts the 3 terabytes of storage and the ability to time-shift up to eight channels at a time from the older Regza models. The difference is that you’re not limited to a hard cap at 26 hours per channel.
Connectivity is also De-luxe, there are options for DLNA and up to eight HDDs. Or hook up a Blu-ray recorder and record straight to the optical media just as you do on the 46XE2 Regzas’ built in storage.
How does the 46XE2 transform 2D images into 3D images instantaneously? This requires a bit of in-depth 46XE2 product information. It all begins with the CELL processor, all models of the Regza Cell LCD TV’s have it, and it’s Toshibas “Real Time 2 D 3D Conversion Technology” that does this magic. All Regza Cell models are web-enabled so they support video on demand, etc. and the offer Regza Link, support DLNA, and a “Mega LED Panel” with 240 Hz, beside the 3TB HDD.
